The labor and delivery department on the 5th floor at USC Verdugo Hills Hospital underwent a comprehensive refresh and accessibility upgrade. The team staff room was redesigned to enhance functionality and comfort. Accessibility improvements were made to the staff toilet and sitz rooms, including two ADA-compliant shower rooms, an ADA staff toilet room, and a storage room. Cosmetic updates featured new flooring and wall finishes in the labor and delivery rooms, supporting areas, and postpartum rooms. This project aimed to create a more accessible and pleasing environment for both staff and patients.
