The project involved selective demolition and modernization of an equipment area. Non–fire-rated walls were removed, and the existing automatic robot and two carousel units were taken out. New equipment—including one automatic robot, two carousels, and an air compressor set—was installed and integrated with existing systems. The fire-rated gypsum board ceiling remained in place throughout the work, with only minimal openings created and restored to maintain its fire-rated integrity.
