This project involves upgrading the existing MRI system with the Siemens Skyra Fit package. The upgrade includes replacing the current MRI gantry covers and electronics while retaining the existing MRI magnet. The existing patient table will be replaced with a mobile table and docking station. The MRI filter panel and equipment cabinets will be replaced with units of equal or reduced weight and STU output. Additionally, new interior finishes will be provided in the scan room, control room, and adjacent spaces. No interoperability or interventional procedures will be performed in this MRI suite.
